Mi Rupee 1 Flash Sale - How much of it is true

So Xiaomi came up with a dhamakedar Diwali sale from 3rd Nov to 5th Nov with products claiming to be sold at Rs.1. As per the website it would be selling 1000 product per day for these 3 days at a mere value of Rs.1. This is unbelievable but Xiaomi claims it to be true.

So, I thought of finding it for myself.
I registered myself for the sale. Booked my seat by sharing it. And sat in front of my system to check it out. To make sure we test it well, I also asked 3 of my friends to register for the same and we all were ready to go. Just to mention, we all were on high speed connections, with one on 3G, 2 on corporate network and 1 on home broadband. We did not check it on first day but as the claims rose high, I though of giving it a try.
So what was the result?

You are in a queue...

SOLD OUT...

This is what all of us got to see.
First a waiting message and in a few seconds, SOLD OUT. Everything within 15secs. How?? :-O

So, we say the SALE IS FAKE...

Why do we say it is FAKE-

1. 500 orders in seconds... We were also on time, but weren't one of them. :-D I am saying this because different days on both the hours 2PM and 6PM we tried using different strategies but still we failed. Seems impossible.
2. Even if we were not among first 500 people to get into our cart, how come everyone did there transactions in under 15 seconds only. At least we should be in queue until everyone actually does the complete transaction till payment. But within seconds OUT OF STOCK message came up. It seems impossible that all the 500 people would complete transaction within 15 secs.
3. We also tried on mobile with 3G connectivity. I started tapping before hand to make sure once the timeout happens I get the click. But to no avail.
4. Only one person claimed on twitter that he got a Mi Power bank while tagging XiaomiMiIndia and Mi India CEO Mr. Manu Kumar Jain. We just can't say whether this guy actually bought it in that sale or was one of the guy from Xiaomi. ;-) :-D

If any of you reading this post have actually tried to buy from this sale can share your views in comments as well. :-)
